International Maritime Bureau report an increase in piracy, with vessels being boarded at night, whilst underway, as well as assisting in the fight against piracy. Our searchlights can accomadate the security of the vessel preventing possible piracy.
Francis Searchlights can and have been used in both security land based applications like watch towers and in architechural use.
ST76 - Floodlight, max 1x1000W HPS/MH
This powerful light can be equipped with a narrow beam reflector for 'spot light' capabilities or wide beam for more of a 'flood lighting' effect. Housing is made from powder-coated white, seamless stainless steel. UL/GL/CSA approvals upon request.
L480D - Tungsten Halogen Searchlight
Manufactured in stainless steel, these robust quality searchlights are for use with military, coast guard or corrections facility operations. The powerful L-480D has been used world-wide in military operations, including at the US Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay.

FSP250 - Signalling Searchlight
The 250mm (10”) pedestal or bridge wing mounted light is used on medium and large naval craft for ship to ship and ship to shore signalling using the morse code or similar signalling code. The light is all brass, anti-magnetic construction and is fully weatherproof. The light shutter can be locked to allow its use as a searchlight.
