The FSP380 is a 380mm (15") pedestal or bridge wing-mounted signalling searchlight for medium and large vessels. Constructed from brass with anti-magnetic properties and IP56 weatherproofing, it operates via tungsten halogen lamp for ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore morse code signalling with a minimum range of 12 nautical miles in daylight conditions.
The Francis FSP380 is a 380mm (15") pedestal or bridge wing-mounted signalling light designed for medium and large craft. It performs ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore signalling using morse code or equivalent signalling protocols.
Construction: Brass body with anti-magnetic properties and full weatherproofing to IP56. The shutter mechanism can be locked to enable searchlight operation. Optical system features a parabolic glass reflector with 4° beam divergence.
Performance: Signalling range of 12 nautical miles (19 km) in daylight. Shutter speed supports up to 12 words per minute morse transmission. Tungsten halogen lamp rated for 500 hours service life. Operating temperature range extends to -50°C.
