Handheld Signalling Lantern – FSP127 SOLAS/MED
The Francis FSP127 (MKV) is a 127mm handheld signalling lantern fully approved to MED regulations and SOLAS requirements for vessels over 150 tons gross tonnage engaged in international travel. It provides ship-to-ship Morse code signalling with a daylight range of 12.8 km and operates independently of the vessel's main electrical power.
The FSP127 (MKV) meets SOLAS mandates requiring all international vessels over 150 tons to carry an efficient daylight signalling lamp independent of the ship's primary electrical source. The 127mm handheld projector delivers ship-to-ship signalling capability via Morse code on all vessel types.
Construction uses marine-grade aluminium with IP56 weatherproof rating and full waterproof capability. The parabolic glass reflector, light reduction filters, and coloured filter options enable controlled light output. Standard tubular and V sights support precision aiming. The unit functions as both a signalling lamp and spotlight.
