Xenon Prison Grade Searchlights – Francis FX480RC
The Francis FX480RC is a 1,000W xenon searchlight engineered for prison and security applications. It features a precision electro-formed nickel reflector, variable speed pan/tilt control via joystick, and RS485 connectivity. Available in 115V or 230V configurations with IP56/IP66 rated enclosures.
The FX480RC incorporates design features for demanding operational environments. The xenon lamp delivers immediate full brilliance on switch-on with instant re-strike capability and no cooling-down requirement. The precision electro-formed nickel reflector resists shattering under impact.
Control is managed through a joystick panel with variable speed adjustment and auto home position setting. Pan rotation extends 385° with independent tilt and elevation control. RS485 interface enables remote operation and integration with security systems.
Construction uses marine-grade stainless steel with toughened front glass. Optional metal guard available. Gearbox rated IP66; searchlight and power supply unit rated IP56.
